i got sick of the superficial content in teen magazines, and designed one of my own. it's kind of a parody, but kind of holds a message as well. definitely fits in its category.. devious fun. the sexy girl on the cover is katie, whose deviant ID is terpsichorean. check her out.

the typography could use some work, something to make it interesting...also adjust the levels in katie, and put some movement in the bg.....and the fact that you stole the name....

bullshit. doesn't need work. it's great. i love it.. i should upload my collage that has that kind of theme.. it's one of cut outs from mags and stuff.. anyway. love it. xxo

the color of the picture kat gave me was already tweaked, except it was green instead of orangish. i really couldn't do much. i don't know if you've ever noticed, but the background of most magazine covers such as seventeen, ym, etc, are plain colored. at least, the ones i own are. thanks for the comments, though.

very cool I love the clean finish to this, the style of the cover reminds me of a local magazine/webzine here in portsmouth ( [link] ). I'm always a fan of "be your own person" stuff. + the Seventeen title kicks ass!
